Privacy Policy

Effective date: January 1, 2026 · Last updated: January 1, 2026

1. Who we are

BeyondV1 (“BeyondV1,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides an operations platform purpose-built for professional flight crew operating under FAR Part 91 and Part 135. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you create an account, browse our marketing site, or use our mobile and web applications (collectively, the “Service”).

If you have questions about this policy, contact us at support@beyondv1.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. Name, email address, and authentication credentials. If you sign in with a third-party identity provider, we receive your basic profile from that provider.
  • Crew profile information. Optional details you supply such as base airport, certificate type (ATP / Commercial), operation type (Part 91, Part 135, or both), and operator name.
  • Operational data you create. Duty logs, flight legs, report times, pinned snippets (tail numbers, hotel codes, FBO contacts), and any notes you save.
  • Usage and device data. Pages viewed, features used, approximate location derived from IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Payment information. Processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

3. How we use information

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service.
  • Create and maintain your account, authenticate sign-ins, and personalize your experience (e.g., greeting you by name and showing your home base).
  • Process subscriptions and deliver receipts for paid plans (Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, Flight Department).
  • Communicate with you about Service updates, security alerts, and support requests.
  • Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and violations of our Terms of Service.
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations and respond to lawful requests from authorities.

4. Legal bases (EEA / UK users)

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service, your consent (which you can withdraw at any time), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only:

  • With service providers that host our infrastructure, process payments, send transactional email, and provide analytics — bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations.
  • With your operator or flight department if you join a Flight Department workspace, limited to data scoped to that workspace.
  • In connection with a corporate transaction (merger, acquisition, or asset sale), subject to standard confidentiality protections.
  • When required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BeyondV1, our users, or the public.

6. Data retention

We retain account and operational data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing support@beyondv1.com.

7. Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, row-level security on our database, and least-privilege access controls. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to protect your information.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these rights, email support@beyondv1.com. We will verify your identity before acting on requests.

9. Children

BeyondV1 is intended for professional flight crew and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International transfers

Our infrastructure may be located in the United States and other countries. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer of your information to those countries, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other lawful transfer mechanisms.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
